Living Area and Kitchen
There is an open concept on the upper level where you will find the kitchen and the expansive living area. The kitchen is equipped with double ovens, a microwave oven, an induction cooktop, and a roomy refrigerator/freezer to make sure cooking for a large group will go smoothly. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, baking pans, dishes, and utensils for all your cooking and serving needs. The dining area includes a large farm table with an unusual light fixture of Edison bulbs attached to the tin, vaulted ceiling above the table. The table provides an excellent place to play cards, games, and dominoes. Also in the kitchen, there is a huge island that is covered with sinker wood that was reclaimed from the Ouachita River. Around the island are stools that provide extra seating at meal time or for just hanging out to grab a snack or visit with one another. The living area faces the lake and it is all glass upstairs and downstairs. The views of the lake and the sunsets are awesome! There is ample seating in this area for get togethers, to watch TV or just enjoy looking out at the lake in air conditioned comfort. There is also a second den on the lower level that provides another great space for family and friends to gather. As one goes down the stairs there are paintings, posters and vintage signs that line the walls. There is a tribal rug along with a neutral sofa that makes out into a bed to provide more sleeping space. The exposed brick walls are whitewashed which makes for a softer look.
